Bio:
After proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps, where he served in a Special Operations Capable unit as a Recon Team Leader, Apollo found a passion for business. He earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin, then after a few more years of work experience decided to go to UT for a Masters. Noticing a huge lack of access that small and medium sized businesses have to consulting work he founded Idea Recon where he helps companies grow, scale, and minimize cybersecurity risks.

If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
I would want my power to be able to rid people's body's of disease and sickness. There's so much of it that I would be the busiest of all superheroes!!!
What is something that cheers you up?
Cardio Kickboxing cheers me up!! It feels so great to move my body and makes me feel energetic and youthful.
What's one thing you couldn't live without?
I couldn't live without my family. They are my life's treasures!
What is a favorite quote of yours?
One of my favorite quotes was written in my autograph book in the 8th grade by my Science teacher and has stuck with me:
"Life is like a mirror,
Reflecting what you do,

It smiles right back at you!!"
What is one thing on your bucket list?
This is sooo cliche' but my bucket list only has one thing on it: to travel the world! This is such an incredible planet....who wouldn't want to experience more of it??!!
Bio:
With over twenty five years of retail experience as a fragrance rep for companies like Christian Dior, Puig USA, and L’Oreal European Designer Fragrances, Blynda has a variety of knowledge in both sales and merchandising. Blynda has a passion for the merchandising aspect of retail and its paramount role in the overall presentation of the product. She believes in the methodology that counter animation, balance, and color should tell a comprehensive story with talking points, providing the consumer with a more visceral experience and the desire to know more.
Parallel to her experience in fragrance retail, Blynda has merchandised with a wide range of third party companies such as Lawrence Merchandising and Ambassador Greeting cards. Managing over 50 accounts in the Austin malls for products including Seiko watches, Roman jewelry, and Oscar De La Rente bags, she became an expert at scheduling, analyzing priority and potential, and time management to deadlines.
In her many years of retail merchandising, one of Blynda’s favorite experiences was her time as an Account Coordinator for Papyrus Stationary and Gifts; servicing Whole Foods, Borders Book Stores, and Central Market. With a double digit increase in sales across all stores, Blynda was consistently approached by store managers with offers to increase the Papyrus real estate, due to her vast knowledge, artistic direction and true passion for merchandising and the consumer experience.
Blynda currently manages the skin care boutique for a highly regarded Dermatology practice in Central Texas. Bringing her years of experience and expertise in merchandising to the retail space has elevated the aesthetic of the consumer experience to mirror the magnificent beauty of the building and the prestigious reputation of the practice.
Like Picasso’s paintbrush, merchandising is not only visual art, but emotional art-making the shopping experience memorable.
